Since 1973, Mr. Marshall has practiced in the areas of oil, gas and property representing both major landowners and operators. His broad transactional experience includes acquisitions and divestitures, mineral and surface leases, permits, rights-of-way, farm-outs, exploration agreements, operating agreements, security rights, royalty matters, geophysical agreements, and production purchase and sales agreements. His oil, gas and property litigation experience includes lease maintenance, royalty and joint interest disputes, water-bottom controversies, gas purchase agreements, environmental and regulatory matters, condemnation, and Indian aboriginal possession and title disputes.
Mr. Marshall has tried cases involving oil and gas contracts, environmental clean-ups, royalty cases, and those arising in other areas of commercial litigation.
